How many teeth in a great white shark?

Great white shark have 5-6 layers teeth in its jaw. The first layer teeth is that shark use for attacking.
When the first layer tooth is dropped during attacking, the second layer tooth will move to first layer automaticly.
So, a great white shark will replace thousands of teeth by itself on its life.

But, in a alive great white shark, There are usually only 80-100 pieces shark teeth in its jaw.

I just ordered a great white shark tooth from Amazon Prime. I wanted to know how the teeth are collected?
